Sarchio chickpea flour is gluten free. Chickpeas (Cicer arietinum L.) are a pulse used in ancient times, mainly as a dry ingredient. Sarchio chickpea flour is made by simply grinding the hulled chickpeas.
It is a characteristic pale yellow colour and can be used in a variety of recipes. Excellent when mixed with other flours to bake sweet or savoury dishes, biscuits, cakes and bread.
